The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a new method of emergency coronavirus testing. The infection will be tested using a breath sample. Its name is Inspect IR Cavid-19 Breathalyzer.
However, other methods of corona testing had to collect saliva juice samples.
The new method is completely different in that respect. In this method, in the presence of experts, one has to exhale or blow on a certain instrument. The device will tell you the result of the corona test by checking the breath.
The new type of test will eliminate the hassle of collecting samples by inserting a stick in the nose or mouth. As well as the test will be extremely fast. Within a few minutes of blowing, the device will tell whether the person concerned is infected or not.
The FDA has approved the use of this method on an emergency basis. According to a report by ABC News, the test is about 91.2 percent accurate to diagnose corona. And the ability to detect quid negative specimens is about 99.3 percent.
